Tis' the Season for Dreaming Green!

Welcome! And thank you so incredibly much for joining me over in my neck of the woods! I’ll be honest with you all, I built this website well over a year ago, but never launched it as “it wasn’t 100% done yet”. Well, 2020 has taught me ‘tis better to open myself up and say hi now, then to wait for everything to fall nicely into place.

This has been an indescribably trying year for so many across our world. I do hope that you and your loved ones are as safe and sound, and happy and healthy as possible.

We deliberately moved to our little village here in Maine almost two decades ago to pursue a slower/simpler lifestyle. It’s always been something my family has been thankful for, but never in my wildest imagination could I have fathomed that our lifestyle would be the antidote to much of the anxiety and fret that this year has brought.

Now while garden adventures, woodland exploring and a whole lot of bird watching may not sound that exciting to some, it has absolutely been everything to me, and my constantly-whirling mind. And since you’ve been kind enough to visit me over here, I’m thinking a few of these things may be right up your alley as well.

So without any further ado, let’s kick off December dreaming green together! Seed catalogs are arriving every day, each getting me giddier than the next! If you’re looking for some quality companies to purchase your seeds from, please check out my recommendations HERE.

I’ve been busy here in my studio prepping to start this year’s watercolor garden plans. I’ll chat more about this as the weeks go along, but if you want to shake off the winter blahs, grabbing some watercolors and dreaming garden is where it’s at! No artistic experience needed…just grab a brush and start…even if it’s just color blobs, it’ll brighten your blahs away!

I’m also celebrating the discovery of the top of my table because I finally sorted and organized a whole gaggle of saved seeds and flowers from the summer. It definitely was the summer of beans in terms of seed saving, so please stay tuned here as I’ll be doing a little seed sharing giveaway soon!

And finally, now that December has rolled around, I am decking the halls with all the woodland goodies I can gather, along with my traditional hanging of a zillion citrus garlands! Click HERE to learn how to make your own!

Once more, thanks so much for joining me here! It means more than I can express…let’s just say, it beats citrus garlands…and if you’ve been with me on Instagram for a while now, you know how much I love those!!

Cheers!
